Anger Management

Description

5 or 10 Hours An Anger Management class is a way to teach people to express their anger in a controlled, healthy way. We teach people about what anger is, how to recognize their anger triggers, how to become aware of their own feelings of anger, and how to keep their anger under control. We also discuss what other feelings they may have going on, such as depression. We can do this individually, with spouses or families, or in groups.

  • Some anger management techniques that are encouraged to practice are:
  • Self-talk to remind self to be aware of his/her reactions
  • Walking away from the situation until he/she calms down
  • Remembering to treat other people like you want to be treated
  • Agreeing to disagree, and leaving it at that

Classes conducted in group. Private optional Anger Management classes can also be tailored to your specific group needs and work environment. Classes can be held in a group or individual setting. In an individualized setting, Anger management is dealing with personal behaviors that cause negative consequences or outcomes. In a group setting, Anger Management focuses on Conflict/Resolution, prevention, learning warning signs and also on how to deal with high risk situations that can lead to negative behaviors or conflict.

Testimonials

As a 30-year educator, I had the opportunity to recommend over 200 students to Benavides Driving school during my career. The school has a long history of excellence and integrity. As a parent, I had no doubt that my 2 kids were in for an awesome experience. Both are in college now, and are both excellent drivers. I am very grateful to the staff. In my opinion as an educator and a parent, Benavides Driving School has set the standard by which all driving schools should be evaluated...they are still the best around.
